Plans for next semester

I have attended in ALP for two months. It was the time that was not long enough to see more changes but it was enough to recognize to some things that I am proud of a little of my improvement.
First, I can communicate more confidently. Before that, when I start to study here, it is difficult to react immediately. Every time, I want to speak or write about anything, I need to think a long time to arrange my idea.
Second, I can understand English from people come from many countries.
However, my listening skill is still not good; I need to improve by practicing much more. I haven’t still understood clearly what native people talk. Sometimes, I ask they say again l can understand.
Next semester, I will continue to study ALP, I want to improve my English in communication and academic to admit to MBA soon. I need to get high score in TOEFL and GMAT. I know that it is not easy for me right now, but this is my target and I want to gain it.

My favorite television program

There are many TV programs, but my favorite TV program is financial news.
First of all, my interest is investment. Therefore, I like to watch financial news to follow the prices and index of something that I am interested in.
Some of financial news that I usually watch is CNBC, Bloomberg, Gold essential, and VN economy….
Second, I intend to choose finance as my major in the MBA program in the future. There is a lot of analysis in financial news that I can read. For example, when the price of oil increases, I can find out the reasons and information to explain what is going on.
In addition, financial news give a lot of information of everything is happening all over the world. I can follow the events if I should sell, buy, or hold my investment. For example, it updates the prices of gold, oil, and the exchange of currencies such as EUR/USD, JPY/USD….
For these reasons, the financial news has become one of the important things that I have to watch every day.

Work for the company or go into the business

In my opinion, I prefer to work for the company a while to get experience and after that I go into business for myself.
There are many reasons for my choice. First, the goal in my life is that become a successful business woman. However, I need a process to achieve this goal, I can’t gain it in a short time. Therefore, I have to take a position in a company to get experience in many industries. For examples, if I intend to go into business for financial industry, I have to work in some financial companies.
Second, when I work for the company, I will have many relationships with many kinds of people. These relationships help me much more in the future when I go into business. For examples, I have good relationship with my colleagues, managers, customers, in many companies that I worked. When I need to solve something that I don’t handle, I can take some advice from them.
Finally, I will go into business for myself. At that time, I have enough conditions to carry out my plan. I will use my knowledge and experiences that I got to apply in my business. Business will give me many opportunities to get more money, and create value something for the life. It is not only for me but also for my family and society.

Thankful for someone in my life.

From the time I was born and grew up until now, I have to be thankful for my parents who gave me birth and raised me. I am thankful for the things I have, and friends who have been with me when I am happy or desperate in my life.
First, my parent are persons who I always thankful for because they sacrifice for me. They always give the best things, best food, and best opportunities whenever I need them.
Second, I always thankful for what I have, especially, I thank God for all the blessings and abundance in my life. I have had a couple of great opportunities to make my dreams come true, some good jobs that provided life experience and money.
Finally, I am always thankful for all of my friends who cheer me up when I face a difficult problem, help me when I need something, and take me somewhere to discover many interesting places.

HOW TO CHOOSE A MARRIAGE PARTNER

A marriage partner is an important choice in our lives. We can be successful or fail in all areas depending on this choice. In my opinion, when choosing a marriage partner, we need to think about the following things.
First of all, we have to find a person who has the same kind of knowledge. It is very important because in our lives we face many problems. A marriage partner is a person who can give support and find the best way to solve these problems.
Second, a marriage partner has to have good communication with his/her partner. He/she knows how to respect, listen and understand her/his partner.
Third, a marriage partner is a person who can share everything with his/her partner. He/she needs to share their emotions, possessions, life story, daily life, and plans for the future.
Finally, a marriage partner is a person who always will be with us when we are happy, desperate, healthy or sick.
In conclusion, if we find a marriage partner who fulfills all of these elements, we will be successful in our lives.

My dream job

Everyone has a dream job in life, but how we can get it is a target that we always to find.
In my opinion, my dream job is to become a successful investor.

Firstly, I love investment. That is an industry that I am interest in and save a lot of time to research. I like to read and watch TV about financial news such as Bloomberg, CNBC, Goldessential……I want to update a lot of financial information that going on around the world.

Secondly, although I graduated in Business, but finance is one of the most subjects that I like to study at university, and I got high score about these subjects that involved finance.

Thirst, I worked for some financial companies, so I have some experiences in finance. I can know what customer expect when they buy some financial products of company or when they invest something. Moreover, I have trained how to look for potential client, provide appropriate service for them.

Furthermore, a key reason makes me want to become successful investor is that George Soros and Warren Buffett are two persons who I always admire. I want to be like them. They have been great investors now and the path to wealth proves that both of them are persons who have far views, know to forecast and have action right time.

However, it is not easy for women to work in financial field. I always get headache, because I have to follow and decide at right time. Sometimes it takes a lot of my time, whenever and wherever I go, I need to check financial information any time But when I set up a target, I want to gain it.

In conclusion, become a successful investor is a dream in my life, and I always find the best way to get it. I intend to get higher lever in my study in United State and apply the knowledge that I study in US and use my experience to make my dream come true.

The characteristics of a good leader.

In my opinion, the characteristics of a good leader are humour, good knowledge in the field that he/she works, encouraging his/her employees in right time, good listening and understanding skill.

First of all, a leader is a humour person, he/she can create a comfortable working environment at company. His/her employees feels the company as their second house, they feel eager to come to company and try their best to finish their work.

Second, he/she needs to good knowledge in the field that he/she works. This is very important, because if his/her employees knows that their leader lack some knowledge about something in their job, they shrug light off that boss.

Moreover, a leader need to know encouraging his/her employees in right time. All of employees have different characteristics, so if a leader know to take advantage strong points and weak points of employees, and combine all of them in right time, he/she will have a successful team. For example, when a leader gives a target for employees, he/she need to give more detail for some employees if they finish their job excellent, they can receive great prize. In contrast, he/she also should motivate for some employees that they haven't finish their job successful yet. They have a second chance later.

Furthermore, a leader should have good listening and understanding skill, if he/she listens their employees say something in their life or work, he/she can understand expectation of employees about their future in company. It helps a leader can arrange appropriate position for each employee. For example, if some employees can not work far away from their home, a leader can arrange some positions in the branch of company that located near their home.

To summary, if a leader want to have good team for working effectively, he/she need to have all of characteristics that I mention above. If he/she is good in manage, he/she will receive the respect from employees and they will try their best to finish their job.

Advices for visitors coming to my country

My country, Vietnam is a dynamic, beautiful country. There are many visitors to come to Vietnam every year to visit many interesting places or look for many chances to invest. There are both exciting and frustrating at the same time when you travel every where, so I would share some advices that are most important.

When you come to Vietnam, you should find some information about Vietnam. For example, the weather, transportation, food, politics......

First, the weather in Vietnam just have two seasons, rainy and sunny. Vietnam is tropical country, so the weather is hot all year. If you are living in the country that the weather is cold, you will feel uncomfortable when you come to Vietnam. You should prepare some appropriate clothes for the hot weather.

Second, transportation in Vietnam is very different from another country. There are two popular transportation in Vietnam that are motorcycle and car. Beside that, you can use the bus or ' xich lo", this is a Vietnamese bicycle that has three wheels. You can use those kinds of transportation to visit around some big city such as HoChiMinh, HaNoi, Hue....But you are careful when you drive in Vietnam, because all the roads are very crowd.

Third, there are a lot of delicious food in Vietnam you should try when you visit. For example, "pho" is one of most popular food in Vietnam.

Moreover, most of Vietnamese is so friendly, they can show you everything you need to ask more information. However you are carefully when you come around the street alone, especially at night. Like every where all over the world, you are strange compare to people in Vietnam and it is easy to recognise you on the street, so you can become a target for pickpocket.

To summarize, when you travel some countries, you should look for a lot of information about the country that you come and learn to adapt every situation. If you can do that, you will have memorable travel, and you can learn about many different cultures

A favorite movie

A favorite movie is “Awake”. That is movie that describe a story about a smart, sensitive mother. She scarified her life to save her son and their property. Her son was a chairman in famous company. His heart need to replace, because his disease was serious. The doctor carried on that surgery was his friend. That doctor and his girlfriend plan to kill a young, talent chairman by surgery.

One surprise thing they didn’t know that the mother discovered when she waited in the hospital throughout the surgery. She knew that she could not solve this situation by herself.
Finally, she asked her friend, he was also a good doctor. She wrote some words and she suicided a few minutes before her doctor come. As a result, he saved her son by replacing her heart. The surgery was successful, her son awaked.

The reason I like this movie is that the mother’s sacrifice to save her son and the future of their company by her life. I think in that situation, no one also can do it.

One of historical event had has major effect on VietNam

What historical event in your country has had a major effect on your country? Give reasons and examples to support your response.
There are many historical events in my country, but the event 30 April 1975 had a major effect on my country.
First, this was the day that Vietnam was entirely liberty and became a independent, liberty country.
Second, most of Vietnamese had changed their life in many ways. Some of them continued to live in VietNam and helped to contribute country that was destroyed by the war.
Also some of Vietnamese to looked for the way to go to abroad. They went to many coutries such as America, French, Germany, Russia….They faced a lot of difficult situations when they came to strange country. But they overcome and set up the stable life. Some of them have been successful now.
As a result, they have applied their achievements that they had after many years to live in many countries to come back Vietnam and develop their hometown.
On the other hand, there are some Vietnameses lost their family when they runaway from Vietnam. Because at that time, most of them come to abroad by over pass the border that was illegal. Likewise, some of Vietnamese lost their family when the regime changed. After 30 April 1975, some of them imprisoned and died in the jail. Thus they really wanted to revenge the regime that made their family to separate.
For these reason, the event 30 April 1975 has become a event that every person in Vietnam couldn’t forget in their life.
